Richmond, Virginia (July 10, 2009) -- William M. Eschenfelder, Tara S.
Eschenfelder and Michelle R. Richard have been certified as
professional engineers in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is granted by the Commonwealth of
Virginia to acknowledge that an individual is qualified to practice
engineering in the state. Engineers receive the P.E. license after
passing the Civil Engineering Principles and Practice exam.
Mr. Eschenfelder has been with Delta Airport Consultants, Inc. for over
four years and has assisted with the coordination and management of the
design, construction, and coordination of numerous airport improvement
projects, particularly with stormwater management, grading, drainage,
as well as pavement design. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in
Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Ms. Eschenfelder has been with Delta for over four years. She graduated
with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and
is a Certified Member of the American Association of Airport
Executives(AAAE.). She has gained extensive design experience at
several general aviation and air carrier airports including airfield
lighting layout, marking signs, paving and drainage. In addition, she
has earned her pilot’s license.
Ms. Richard has been with Delta for three years. She graduated with a
B.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla, and is an
instrument rated Private Pilot. Various projects have provided her an
opportunity to gain design experience on different levels including
drainage, road design/relocation, FAR Part 77 and wetlands permitting
requirements.
