Delta is employee-owned and operated by dedicated aviation professionals, including civil and electrical engineers, airport planners, former airport managers, former FAA and State transportation leaders, industry leaders, and pilots. Bios of key individuals are below.

Charles D. Lamb, P.E.

C.E.O.

Charlie has been with the firm since 1979. He has been involved with hundreds of airport development projects and has worked with airports across the country. He is a certified airline transport pilot and multi-engine instrument flight instructor and has been inducted into the Virginia Aviation Hall of Fame.

Courtney A. Beamon, P.E.

President

Courtney joined Delta in 1996 and has worked in a variety of positions:  serving on engineering teams, managing client relationships, spearheading corporate initiatives, and overseeing operations across the company’s eight offices.  She has served as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and plays a key role in business development.

Kenneth W. Brammer, P.E.

Vice President

Ken joined Delta in 1989 and has over 30 years of experience in management, design, and construction administration of airfield and landside projects. Ken served for six years as the Activation Coordinator for Dulles International Airport Modernization and Expansion Program.

Roy G. Lewis, AICP, A.A.E.

Vice President

Roy joined Delta in 2001 and oversees many of our planning and environmental efforts. Early in his career, he worked with Eastern and Delta Airlines and later joined the staff of  Richmond International Airport to work with airport development. Roy is a Certified Planner, an Accredited Airport Executive, and a private pilot.

John C. Longnaker, P.E.

Vice President

John joined Delta in 1994 and has over 30 years of experience in airport engineering and planning, including new/rehabilitation of runways, taxiways, runway extensions, and access roads. He is a private pilot, Certified Member of AAAE, and LEED certified.

Kenneth W. Moody, P.E.

Vice President

Ken joined Delta in 1984. Ken has specialized experience in all aspects of airport planning and development and has been involved with hundreds of projects at both commercial service and general aviation airports across the country. He is an instrument rated, multi-engine private pilot and a Certified Member of AAAE.

David W. Jones, P.E.

Vice President

Dave joined Delta in 1994. He is a very active commercial single and multi-engine instrument rated pilot. Dave is responsible for the coordination and management of the planning, design, construction, and administration of numerous complex airport development projects.

Douglas E. Sander, P.E.

Vice President

Doug joined Delta in 1996 and oversees many of our design and planning efforts. He is a contributor to Advisory Circular 150/5300-13a “Airport Design”, serves on the ACC Engineering Technical Committee, and is a frequent presenter at industry events. He is also a Certified Member of AAAE.

Tracy J. Saunders, P.E.

Vice President

Tracy joined Delta in 1993 and oversees our team of airport designers and has a thorough knowledge of industry standards and FAA design requirements. Tracy is actively involved with the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and is currently serving as the Chair of the Engineering Committee, and he is a Certified Member of AAAE.
